A Wry Smile Upon My Face

A wry smile

Has graced my face

A small tear

Has traced its way

Too much kindness

Of yours has pierced

A piece of my stone cold heart

Made it bleed with

Gleeful tears

You make me feel

How it feels like

To be liked for being you

If not in real life

Then in paper

You teach me acceptance

Which you gave me selflessly

Without even knowing

You are giving it

In reality,  to who

Guess thats how it goes

One soul deeply wounded

Trying to be the balm

That tries to sooth

The wounds of another

It knows it won’t survive

But till its last breath

Tries to make sure

That the others are well fed

And after its departure

Will smoothly survive.

    1. So do you love, I just try and fumble with words to be frank, while trying to display unfiltered emotions through them.
Thank you so much for your kind words dear 😍😍😍
