Today I saw it in her eyes
Glowing like a rare gem.
The dreams which were afraid
Of their own visions,
Today dropped their weights
In a single click.
The almighty wings shone like the moonlight,
Were ready to explode
The raven sky
And make it bright.
No, they were not really white
Some dregs still resided inside
Though, today! It didn’t matter
Even the dregs glistened in a peculiar glow
Of moonlight ; which seems
To have been a loan
From her own light.
When had they arrived in her eyes
Deciding to build their nest there,
Gently caressing the hands
And tracing the delicate fingers,
Placing the ink and empty pages
Of pleasant future yet to be filled
In her hands,
She must have not noticed.
The melodious anklets
Sang their song in her deaf ears.
Lifted one by one her unknown fears.
But, the love of those dreams
Shone brighter than ever
In the radiance of her peppy walk
The slightest lift, of those subtle lips
During her talks.
The dreams which started as strangers
Now, made her soul their home
Her heart their paradise
Her body, their glow.
And I couldn’t be happier.
